Wonderful Experience

"I recently attended a manifestation workshop led by Jo from Empowered to Thrive, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The session was incredibly useful and insightful, allowing me to connect with like-minded women in a supportive and inspiring environment. Jo created a lovely space that was both inviting and energizing. The activities were organised exceptionally well, making the entire event flow seamlessly. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the workshop and left feeling motivated and empowered. Highly recommend!"

Helped Me To Move Forwards

I found JoJo through Facebook and I’m so glad I did! In a short period of time Jo has managed to help me move forward and change my mindset.

I’ve been to quite a few of her events and courses and find them to be so valuable, they are informative, friendly and fun. The venue is like home from home and so cosy.

I would highly recommend and would even go as far as saying I’ve found a friend for life in Jo! If you are hesitant, I’d definitely say just give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.

Thought Provoking Revelations

What a fabulous experience I have had taking part in these sessions…I went originally to support my daughter who is mum to my two granddaughters one diagnosed ADHD and one not as yet..the group looked very interesting and I thought I would learn more about how to deal with this ‘in real life’ rather than from a book, a place with ‘real people’ where I would be able to ask questions on how others deal with things, what best to do and say to help them, well, what a journey this turned out to be! But in quite a thought provoking and kind of self revelation way…

I’ve had a remarkable life, I’ve worked in several different countries as a civilian, been in the WRAF as an aircraft mechanic, raised thousands for charity doing things like parachute jumps, wing walks. Taken young people to Auschwitz and Birkenau etc etc all very commendable I suppose, but what I’ve realised, through attending this group is most of what I’ve done/achieved has related to my feelings of not actually ‘fitting in’….anywhere….

My whole concept of my input into the lives of these such loved young women has begun to change from a bullet point list of don’t do this do that, don’t say this say that, read this book etc etc to one of a deeper understanding of how a neurodivergent brain could/might react to different situations. I feel like a whole new perspective on things has opened up to me.

I’m so glad I found this group and look forward to future sessions and how my awareness develops so that my family can grow and live their lives to the fullest without having to worry about ‘fitting in’ to other peoples idea of ‘the norm’. I could go on and on about the changes I’ve felt in myself this past few weeks, I feel I’m at the start of a whole new chapter where not only am I helping my girls achieve their full potential I’m at last understanding my own.

Felt Comfortable
To Be Myself

"I just wanted to write this review as i'm really pleased I found Jo and the ADHD Thrive Tribe Tameside group. I saw it advertised and wasn't really sure what to expect.

I've got one daughter diagnosed ADHD and another on the pathway and also possible ADHD myself. I went to the group hoping to find ways to help myself and my girls to navigate this.

The first session was really good such a friendly welcome and I felt really comfortable to be myself. I love the fact that Jo has lived experience and can actually understand issues that the group has and are dealing with daily.

I've only been to a couple of sessions but have found them to be very relaxed, enjoyable and informative. Sitting with people who just get it !!

From these sessions im gaining so much more awareness and skills to help. I really think this group is so important as there is nothing similar out there and it really needs to continue to support the community with the increase in numbers of people with neurodivergence.

I look forward to attending more sessions in the future. Thanks Jo for providing such a nice, safe space and fab information for us to take away.

Nice Relaxed Atmosphere

"My experience of this has been fantastic, I feel like I get a lot of it and would recommend to others.
I always look forward to going to them and Jo has been very inspirational in everything she does.

She explains the workshops in detail and gets everyone involved when we share with others, it's all relaxed & we all support each other.

Meditation is something that I like to do but feel like I can't at home so during these sessions it feels nice to relax from everything around me and focus on being at the work shops , deep breathing and feeling calmer when I leave.

I really like the little activities at the end that we do, everyone is different which is great and it's nice to take something home that reminds me of that workshop.

As well as enjoying a hot drink and snack and meeting other like minded people. I look forward to the next one
