About the event

✨ Surviving to Thriving ✨

Feeling stuck, exhausted, or like you’re just going through the motions?

If life feels like one long loop and you’re not sure how you ended up here, this session is for you.

This week’s Surviving to Thriving session gently explores autopilot patterns, the habits, reactions and ways of coping we slip into when life feels overwhelming or we’ve been in survival mode for a long time.

There’s no pressure to analyse yourself or “fix” anything. This session is simply about becoming aware, with kindness and curiosity, so you can begin to make different choices when you’re ready.

These sessions are facilitated by Your Well-being Company in collaboration with Empowered to Thrive CIC. Supported by TMBC and GMCA.

✨ About the Session

This themed session focuses on:

  • Understanding what “autopilot” looks like in everyday life

  • Noticing patterns without judgement or blame

  • Exploring how survival responses show up when we’re tired, stressed or overwhelmed

  • Gently reconnecting with yourself and what you actually need

The session remains calm, flexible, and fully accessible. You’re encouraged to engage in a way that feels right for you... listening, reflecting quietly, or joining in when you want to. You don’t need any prior knowledge or experience.

💫 What You’ll Experience

💛 A safe, welcoming, neurodivergent-friendly space open to all. 🌿 Gentle mind–body practices including breathwork, meditation, and journalling. 🌟 Supportive guidance from two highly experienced wellbeing coaches. 🎨 A calming creative activity to help embed learning and self-expression. ✨ Practical tools to support emotional regulation, stress relief, and balance.

The first half of each session focuses on grounding practices, reflection, and wellbeing tools. The second half brings this together through a creative activity, helping you gently embody what you’ve explored while connecting with others, at your own pace.

There’s no pressure to talk, share, or take part in anything that doesn’t feel right for you.

For many people, these sessions become the first step back into confidence, routine, community and making new friends and connections.

🌱 Come as you are. Leave feeling calmer, supported, and more empowered.
